Due to circumstances beyond our control, in order to ensure the safety of the athletes, it has been decided to move the finish of the Super-G, giant slalom , Team Event and slalom races by 200metres to finish at Rachy. In order to best experience the races visitors will have three options: 1) view the races live from FanZone on the big screen TV at the original arrival area (accessible by foot), 2) take a free shuttle bus up to the new arrival zone to watch the athletes, and 3) ski down from the gondola (both intermediate and Mazot station) to watch the races from the side of the slopes. We appreciate your understanding in this matter and are confident the new location will not disappoint!
Stay tuned in the next few days as we post additional information and photos of the redesigned slope and arrival zone at Rachy.
Torch Tour – Les Diablerets
Welcome to the Diablerets 2020 website: a source of information pertaining to the Les Diablerets region as we gear up to get ready for the Lausanne 2020 Youth Olympic Games from 10 – 15 January 2020 and beyond.
Les Diablerets is a charming all-seasons alpine resort located in the municipality of Ormont-Dessus, within the French-speaking canton of Vaud, Switzerland. With a village altitude of 1200metres, Les Diablerets is well-suited for a host of activities, including large-scale, internationally recognised alpine skiing events.
During the winter season 2018-2019, Les Diablerets will open their new FIS accredited alpine ski piste with the FIS Europa Cup Women’s Super G and Combined races. This inaugural event will kick-off a new era in the resort and bring in visitors from around the world to our village.
